1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Next Level Publishing (“NLP”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) — including our website, platform, and any associated services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Description of Service
Next Level Publishing provides a voice-first book creation and publishing platform that enables authors to record audio, generate manuscripts with AI assistance, design book covers, and prepare content for publication. Features may evolve over time at our sole discretion.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use our platform. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. NLP is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account access.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees on the billing cycle you select. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refund eligibility and processing are governed by our Refund Policy below.
6. Refund Policy
7-Day Free Trial
Next Level Publishing offers a 7-day free trial with full platform access and no credit card required. This trial period is your opportunity to experience the complete platform before committing to a paid subscription.
First Payment - Pro-Rated Refunds
If you subscribe and are not satisfied within 30 days of your first payment you may request a pro-rated refund. Your refund will be calculated based on the number of days remaining in your current billing cycle at the time your cancellation request is received and approved.
Refund Formula: Monthly Subscription Price multiplied by (Days Remaining divided by Total Days in Billing Period).
Example: If you subscribe to Publishing Basic at $49 per month and request a refund after 10 days you would receive approximately $32.67 representing the 20 remaining days in your billing cycle.
Renewal Payments
Monthly renewal charges are non-refundable. By allowing your subscription to renew you have confirmed your intent to continue using the platform for another full billing period. We recommend cancelling before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
Subscription Pause Option
Instead of cancelling you may pause your subscription for up to 3 months at no charge. Your projects, manuscripts, cover designs, and all platform data are saved and waiting when you return. Contact info@nextlevelpublishing.com to request a pause.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
Account Status After Refund
Upon receiving a refund your account will be deactivated immediately. Your projects and manuscripts are retained for 90 days should you choose to resubscribe within that period.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund log into your account, go to Account Settings, and click Request Refund. Alternatively email us at info@nextlevelpublishing.com with your account email and reason for cancellation. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your first payment.
Refund Eligibility
Next Level Publishing reserves the right to deny refund requests for accounts found to be in violation of our Terms of Service, accounts that have filed chargebacks, or accounts with evidence of abuse or fraudulent activity.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our systems.
- Use automated means to scrape, index, or harvest data without written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network connected to NLP.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform software, design, trademarks, and proprietary content remain the property of Next Level Publishing or its licensors. Your original content (recordings, manuscripts, etc.) remains yours — see our Copyright & IP Policy for details.
9. AI-Generated Content
Our platform uses artificial intelligence to assist with manuscript generation and other creative tasks. You acknowledge that AI-generated output may require review and editing, and that NLP makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, originality, or fitness of such output for any particular purpose. 10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. You may export your content prior to termination where technically feasible.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NLP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
