Copyright & IP Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Your Content, Your Rights

When you upload audio recordings, written content, images, or any other original material to Next Level Publishing (“NLP”), you retain full ownership of that content. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your original works.

2. License Grant to NLP

By submitting content to our platform, you grant NLP a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform on your behalf. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

3. AI-Assisted Content

Content generated with AI assistance on our platform is derived from your original input (recordings, prompts, and style selections). You retain ownership of the final output as it represents your creative direction. NLP makes no claim to manuscripts, cover designs, or other AI-assisted outputs you produce using the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that AI-assisted content does not infringe third-party rights. We recommend reviewing all generated content before publication.

4. NLP Platform Intellectual Property

All software, algorithms, UI design, branding, trademarks — including “Next Level Publishing,” “NLP,” and “Maddy” — and proprietary technology on the platform are the exclusive property of Next Level Publishing or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of NLP IP to you.

5. Third-Party Content

Some features may incorporate licensed third-party assets (fonts, stock imagery, templates). Where applicable, usage rights for such assets are governed by their respective licenses. NLP will indicate any usage restrictions on such assets within the platform.

6. Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

NLP respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice to:

Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on our platform.
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

7. Repeat Infringers

NLP will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights, in accordance with applicable law.

8. Counter-Notifications

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the email address above. Counter-notifications must comply with the requirements of the DMCA.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
